About
April 2009
After 25.6 years of being alive (and some 20 years of being able to record my thoughts) I’ve decided to start a blog. I’m guessing the posts here will be all over the place — from the very concrete to the very abstract — and they will reflect my past and current thoughts.
There are several reasons I’m having this blog. For one, I want to share my thoughts with others. But I’m hoping it will also motivate me to think more, and — ultimately — it may also help me find a purpose in life.

This blog finally has a tagline. It’s about exploration (the natural curiosity that I think everyone needs to have that allows them to understand the world they live in), introspection (the ability to direct this thirst for understanding inwards), and creation (in order to make something beautiful out of this understanding).

The blog, and I, have matured to the point where it’s becoming clear to me why I maintain it. The blog is a good representation of me. It gives me an opportunity to codify and structure my thoughts, and with that, determine some of the most fundamental properties of the Universe. As you will see by browsing many of these posts, I am somewhat of a (thank you Ryan for your acute observation) humanitarian universalist that believes in the equivalence principle (or, in other words, reductionism) and finding and exposing these very fundamental truths is an important mission in my life.
